Blockchain-based prediction market Polymarket was arguably the star of this year’s Golden Globes Awards.
The prediction market was prominently featured during the show, which aired on Sunday, with odds on the potential winners of each category displayed and referenced by hosts, according to media reports.
Over the course of the event, which averaged 8.66 million same-day viewers, Polymarket showcased one of the reasons why it has broken into mainstream consciousness: its accuracy.
Don’t Miss:
Polymarket correctly predicted 26 of the Globes’ 28 categories, CEO Shayne Coplan said Tuesday on X.
“We have a long way to go to educate the public on the value of market-based forecasts, but you can’t deny its accuracy,” he said. “People have more clarity about the world because Polymarket exists. A surreal moment and a highlight for all our team members’ moms.”
The Golden Globes integration followed an exclusive partnership announced last week, billed to strengthen audience engagement. It is the latest in a growing line of big-name partnerships that Polymarket has secured in recent months.

They are looking for investors with a $10 investment minimum.
Prediction markets allow users to bet on anything from the weather to global conflicts, with odds set by traders rather than the house, allowing observers to glean public opinion and insights from them. Proponents say they are more accurate than traditional polls, as participants have cash on the line.

Building a resilient portfolio means thinking beyond a single asset or market trend. Economic cycles shift, sectors rise and fall, and no one investment performs well in every environment. That’s why many investors look to diversify with platforms that provide access to real estate, fixed-income opportunities, professional financial guidance, precious metals, and even self-directed retirement accounts. By spreading exposure across multiple asset classes, it becomes easier to manage risk, capture steady returns, and create long-term wealth that isn’t tied to the fortunes of just one company or industry.
Fundrise

EnergyX
As demand for electric vehicles and energy storage grows, lithium has become a key driver of the clean energy transition — and an asset class many investors haven’t tapped. EnergyX’s Lithium Ion Transport and Separation (LiTAS) technology offers a “brine to battery” solution, providing early-stage investors a way to gain exposure to lithium production and the energy sector. With investments starting at $1,000, EnergyX allows investors to diversify beyond traditional stocks and bonds into a fast-growing segment of the green economy.

Masterworks
Masterworks enables investors to diversify into blue-chip art, an alternative asset class with historically low correlation to stocks and bonds. Through fractional ownership of museum-quality works by artists like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, investors gain access without the high costs or complexities of owning art outright. With hundreds of offerings and strong historical exits on select works, Masterworks adds a scarce, globally traded asset to portfolios seeking long-term diversification.
