Dubai, UAE, 23 September 2026: Forex Expo Dubai 2026 has broken its own Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Attendance at a Forex Event”, welcoming 23,816 attendees over its ninth edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre (Halls 1 to 5) on 22 and 23 September. The new figure surpasses the previous milestone of 20,021 attendees, which the same event set in 2025.
The record caps a strong two days for the region’s trading community. It also lands weeks after Dubai was ranked the world’s top location for fintech in the latest Global Financial Centres Index, a position the expo brought into sharp focus by gathering the brokers, platforms and traders behind that leadership under one roof.
A new world record for the largest forex event
Organisers said the 2026 edition recorded 17,536 visitors, 2,898 traders, 850 introducing brokers (IBs), 795 affiliates and 1,737 business attendees, alongside 270 exhibitors and 150 speakers across five stages. Together that added up to 23,816 people through the doors, enough to reset the Guinness World Records mark the event first claimed a year earlier.
“Breaking our own Guinness World Records title is an incredible achievement for Forex Expo Dubai, especially given the uncertainty across the region in the lead-up to this year’s event,” said Niyaz Mohammed, Commercial Director at HQMENA. “To see 23,816 people come through our doors and deliver a new attendance record is a testament to the strength of the trading community, the confidence of our exhibitors and partners, and the incredible work of our team.”
What happened across the two days
Across both days, attendees explored trading platforms and financial solutions, sat in on expert-led sessions, and used dedicated spaces to network, hold meetings and scope out new business. New experiences built around traders, IBs and affiliates gave each audience more tailored ways to take part, with relevant sessions and chances to connect with businesses and potential partners.
The turnout builds on a packed opening day. For readers who followed the event as it happened, our Day 1 recap of Forex Expo Dubai 2026 captured the more than 16,000 attendees who arrived on the first morning, while our preview of the event set out what to expect before the doors opened.
Why Dubai keeps drawing the trading world
A record on this scale reflects a wider shift, with the Gulf positioning itself as a hub for finance, fintech and online trading.
