Dubai, UAE, 24 September 2026: Seamless Middle East 2026 has closed at the Dubai World Trade Centre, wrapping up the 26th edition of the region’s flagship show for fintech, payments, digital commerce and retail delivery. The three day event ran from 22 to 24 September across Halls 1 to 8, bringing together the operators, brands and technology companies that shape how money moves and how goods reach buyers across the region.
This year the show ran under a wider banner. Seamless Middle East, Seamless Fintech, Home Delivery World Middle East and Shop Arabia sat under one roof, giving retailers, banks, payment providers, logistics teams and direct to consumer brands a single floor to work from. It closed a busy stretch of trade activity in the city, following Forex Expo Dubai 2026 breaking a Guinness World Records title the weekend before.
What powered the floor
Organiser Terrapinn said the event brought together more than 750 exhibitors, over 800 speakers and an audience projected above 25,000 across the three days. Booths covered the full fintech, payments and commerce stack, from card acquirers and issuers to point of sale hardware, checkout software, buy now pay later, open banking rails, wallets and cross border payout networks.
The delivery and retail halls carried a connected story. Warehousing, last mile logistics, dark stores, quick commerce operators and shelf ready packaging vendors met the retailers trying to shave minutes off delivery windows, with UAE agencies and technology firms among the exhibitors working the floor.
Who took the stage
The speaker lineup drew senior operators from across the region. Harshdeep Jolly, Executive Director of Technology and AI Strategy at Al-Futtaim, delivered a day one keynote on agentic AI in retail. Sabrina Wurfel of Samsung Electronics MENA joined the commerce track, and Philippe Daoust, VP Innovation and Head of Ventures at Commercial Bank of Dubai, spoke on the fintech side.
The Payments Podium hosted a fireside chat on the National e-KYC Platform with Haseeb Ansari of Emirates Islamic, Basant Khalil of HSBC Bank Middle East and Waheed Rathore of Dubai Islamic Bank. Verifone joined as Gold Sponsor.
Why the edition mattered
Dubai has been ranked the world’s leading fintech hub in the latest Global Financial Centres Index, and Seamless is where that ranking meets its operators face to face. Merchants used the floor as a shortcut through months of vendor calls, and the delivery halls meant retailers who arrived for payment gateways often left with logistics quotes too.
